Harry Potter, the boy who lived, and the Philosopher's Stone is a great book! Harry Potter, an 11-year-old boy, goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, for his first year. On the train ride he meets an 11-year-old boy named Ron Weasley, and a know-it-all girl named Hermione Granger. At Hogwarts he meets the headmaster, a nice old man named Albus Dumbledore. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are at the sorting ceremoy where the Sorting Hat places students in 4 houses: Griffyndore, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Ron and Hermione are placed in Griffyndore, but the Sorting Hat declares that it is difficult to place Harry. The hat wants him in Slytherin, but Harry is whispering "Not Slytherin," and so he is placed in Griffyndore. I think the book is worth infinity stars, the book is exciting, thrilling, adventurous, and mysterious. I would recommend this for 7 and up. Thanks for reading my review!
